Audion International
Stereo Sterling
EL34 PCB Integrated
14 Watts PCB MK 1

$ 23,500
Audion Sterling stereo is built on a quality substrate pcb (printed circuit board) as with all our amps they are hand built. This pentode based EL34 stereo amp uses a small amount of feedback in the design. The chassis is black powder coated aluminum as is the transformer cover. The top plate and badge are mirror finished stainless steel.

The Sterling is a very under rated power amplifier, being musical straight out of the box. The Mk1 version is set at a low price to get people into the door, it's aimed at people who want to try a tube amplifier but who are on a tight budget. Sound wise however it ticks all the right boxes, sounding much better than its price suggests.

Amplifier matching

This Silver Night Anniversary DUO is different from other amps in that the user can tube roll between any 300B, any 2A3 or any type 45 tube, obviously more careful choice of speaker is needed. Lloudspeakers of 89db or better efficiency for 300B mode 95 db or better for 2A3 and 98db or greater for type 45. Ideally matched with our range of Electron cables. The amps deliver 7 watts into 8 ohms from a 300B, 3.5 watts with a 2A3 and 2 watts with a Type 45. Switching is done at the rear by swapping fuse positions and the heater voltages are self sensing within the amp. Tube rolling is easy as the amp is auto biassed Upgrade options are available for this model, see upgrade options at end. Integrated option (5 Stereo inputs is available on all stereo models)

Special Edition
Silver Night 300B Silver Integrated
Hard Wired

$ 62,000
The new Silver Night Special Edition 300B power amplifier. Internally known as the Silver Night IV, which isn't quite correct as this is the 6th incarnation of this legendary amp.
Featuring the same military grade aluminium uni-chassis , the Silver Night Special Edition gets a new, cleaner look, with highlight features designed by the commercial designer Marko Schregardus.

The new design features a badge less top transformer cover, with just the name engraved on the front.

A new mirror finished top plate without screws, which the old panels had and a new fillet piece that both highlights and accentuates the valves, giving an organic feel as if the valves are "growing" out of the amp.

The front panel too hasn't been neglected. The front panel and top box are in a champagne gold colour, with a more tactile knob, designed to enhance both the overall look and to be easier to the touch. On previous models, just our logo was engraved onto the front panel, we have now included our name. You will also notice the cleaner smoother lines on the front panel and top plates and the seamless transition from the mirror polished top plate to the transformer housing.
