Active Noise Cancellation
It has a further optimised version of its much-acclaimed and award-winning ANC® (Active Noise Cancellation) system adapted from military radar defence technology.
Emulating the way in which air defence radar technology works, iPurifier 3 identifies noise frequencies then generates identical but opposite frequencies, which actively cancel all the incoming noise. ANC is the cornerstone of our ever-improving iFi USB audio technology.
Three-in-one re-clocking
Made for all downstream DACs, REclock® is a ‘3-in-1’ feature that re-clocks, re-generates and repeats the USB audio data stream. It eliminates jitter so that music flows better.
A core element of the iPurifier from the start, REbalance® removes the DC offset in a USB audio signal to ‘re-balance’ it. Active Noise Cancellation2
A cornerstone of our ever-improving iFi USB audio technology, our much-acclaimed and award-winning ANC® (Active Noise Cancellation) system is based on military radar defence technology. Specifically, it draws from the ingenious Thales Spectra system used in the French Dassault Rafale jet fighter.
ANC2® identifies noise frequencies coming from the SMPS then generates identical but opposite frequencies, which actively cancel all the incoming noise. It works brilliantly and, with the latest Active Noise Cancellation® technology, the DC iPurifier2 sharply reduces noise from five Volts all the way up to 24 Volts (3.5 amps).
